Vintage pressed metal buttons display / collection card: ~ These have been hand sewn on to repurposed thick paper some time ago ~ This lot includes 10 buttons in all with 4 different design groups that graduate in size – a bowling theme that says SPLIT SPARE STRIKE, a domed brushed finish, The “Great Seal” of the United States eagle crest with an olive brach and arrows, and a regal / royal looking set with a crown and three fleur de lis. ~ Look to be in new old stock or unused condition – there is just some scratching from storage mainly on the largest domed brushed finished one~ Ready and waiting for your craft or sewing project, collection, and/or gift giving ESTIMATED AGE OR ERA = True vintage buttons – due to the timeless themes, look, and lack of marks I couldn’t say for certain. My best guess guess would be broadly mid century in age – 1940’s to 1960’s. METAL AND/OR MATERIAL = All are entirely metal in composition – with pressed and/or embossed patterns or designs. Assorted gold toned and brass shades. See picsCLOSURE/CLASP = x MARKS = No marks on the reverse of the buttons that I could findMEASUREMENTS = Buttons range from 3/4″ – 1.5″ in diameterUS RING SIZE = xWEIGHT = x CONDITION = Good vintage condition – given the age. The paper card shows it’s age a bit – there are some creases, folds, mars, marks, discoloration, etc. Buttons are in overall in nice shape with no to minimal wear. The largest button of the brushed finish domed type has scratching. Please see pics.
