This car is positioned the middle size global strategic C segment car as the lower model as follows Legacy. This first generation called as “GC”, equipped with 1.5 – 2.0 L flat four boxer engine and 4WD (or FWD). The body is 4/5 door sedan and wagon for normal car. And also the special limited model “WRX” as used for rally based has 2 door coupe body and 2.2 L DOHC turbo engine Impreza is motor sport oriented car in particular rally and has won in World Rally Championship (WRC) manufacturing champion three times (1995, 1996, 1997), and also driver’s champion three times (1995, 2001, 2003). After Group A regulation change to WR car for WRC in 1997. Impreza challenge by 2 door based model and got the 3rd consequence championship for manufacturer’s. This year Car No.5 for R. Burns won 3 races and 2nd at driver’s championship. Car No.6 J. Kankkunen won 2 races and 4th position. About model: Engine is not reproduced (Under panel only). Rally car interior reproduced.
