It also provides a USB port to allow you to connect your iPhone or a USB flash stick, the data for which can also be displayed on your radio.     WE INCLUDE THE OPTIONAL SiriusXM Tuner & Antenna, necessary to obtain satellite radio for the gateway module.       WE INCLUDE THE OPTIONAL Tuner to Gateway Interface Cable necessary for the gateway to obtain signal from the SiriusXM Tuner                     HOW HARD IS THIS TO INSTALL?   If you can read and follow instructions, and make 3 simple wire connections, you can do this! The rest is practically plug-n-play & runnning and concealing cables.     Can you make a battery, ground, and ignition connection?   Make it easy on yourself: The instructions recommend hiding the components in the glove box or other easily accesible location to allow you to change settings as necessary and easily connect to the USB cable. Under the carpet is not a good location as this area retains alot of moisture which can damage your equipment.   Subscription to Satellite Service in necessary A FREE software “flash” my be necessary for your gateway module to operate properly       This system adds Satellite Radio using an included SiriusXM tuner and an auxiliary input directly to the factory radio via the radio’s antenna input and using an FM modulator. Control the SiriusXM tuner by means of the small (included) wireless remote and IR sensor.
