The Rossignol Soul 7 is an all-mountain freeride ski that built on the success of its initial release. It was designed to perform exceptionally well in a variety of conditions, balancing playfulness, floatation, and maneuverability. This pair has seen some use, but are in great shape. At 188cm, they’re for the larger or more aggressive skier, but at the same time, these ski “short” in that they’re surprisingly forgiving for a ski that can truly do it all. There are some topsheet chips, and a couple of *minor* base scratches; the bases are 9/10 condition. They’re freshly tuned, sharpened, hotwaxed and hand brushed, they’re ready for snow. The Salomon Z12 demo binding can be adjusted by a certified technician to fit virtually any boot. DIN range is 4-12, which should accommodate the vast majority of skiers. They’re tuned and waxed and ready to go – frontside, backside, bumps, park, pipe, or anything in between!Features Powder Turn Rocker:A blend of 50% rocker in the tip and tail with 50% camber underfoot. This provided excellent float in powder, easy turn initiation, and solid grip on groomers or hardpack. Air Tip Technology:The honeycomb-structured tips were lightweight and reduced swing weight, making the skis more maneuverable. The design also helped keep the tips from sinking in deep snow. Lightweight Paulownia Core:A lightweight wood core that reduced the overall weight of the ski, making it easier to handle and ideal for longer days on the mountain. Sidecut Dimensions:Dimensions ar3 136-106-126 mm, giving the ski versatility for both powder and hardpack performance. It works surprisingly well on groomers for a 106mm ski. Short Turn Radius:A moderate turn radius (~18m for the 188 cm length), which offered quick and nimble turning for tight spots and technical terrain. Sandwich Laminate Construction:The ski featured a sandwich construction with a combination of fiberglass layers for durability, stability, and consistent flex.Benefits Versatility:With its 106 mm waist, the Soul 7 could handle powder, crud, and groomed trails, making it a true all-mountain ski. Ease of Use:The lightweight construction and forgiving flex made it accessible for intermediate to advanced skiers, providing confidence in a range of conditions.
