The Playstation 1 is region locked. This system will play JAPANESE PS1 games only. It will not play US games. The power cable is a standard 2-pin “figure-8” cable. The US PS1 uses a different cable (which has one square end). These are common cables. I am a US seller with 100% positive feedback.
