Photos are of actual item. Price reflects condition. This box looks like it came off the shelf today but was actually released over two decades ago in 2000. Bright, colorful, shiny, and COLLECTIBLE! And as they say: “The best time to buy a rare collectible is when you find it!” Well, you found it. Get it before someone else does. The prices just keep going up on these vintage LEGO sets! Looking for a “Perfect” box? Well, there’s really no such thing but this one is about as close as you’re ever going to find – in superb condition (in my humble opinion). In this condition, this set is an excellent candidate for top-tier toy grading and preservation. Please view all photos. FOR THE TRUE COLLECTOR. WHY SELLING? I sold a lot of LEGO on ebay years ago and hand-picked some of the best sets for my own collection. Well, time to say goodbye to my collection and part with these wonderful sets (please see my other LEGO listings, some with “perfect” boxes as well). I planned to get this graded and encased by AFA for years now but have not gotten around to it. So, selling to the next collector who understands how important box condition is. This has been stored away in a protective plastic bin in dark, dry, smoke-free storage for many years. Never displayed and hardly ever handled. It is in remarkable condition in my opinion, but I’m not an AFA grader so you be the judge.
