NOS – VintageNAPA Balkamp # 701-1061Electric Ammeter Gauge Description: This sale is for a high quality product from the fine NAPA Balkamp company whose reputation is for quality automotive products. This is item number 701-1061 and is identified as an “Ammeter Gauge.” The range on the gauge is -60 to 0 to +60 volts. Also included is an instruction sheet supplied by the manufacturer. We purchased these tools and parts from a gentleman’s estate in Birmingham, Alabama who had an enormous inventory of tools and NOS parts from a 40 year collection. Many of the items are vintage and NOS products that were stored on his shelves for several years. Dimensions: The gauge is 2.067″ at the point of mounting. It is suitable for mounting directly in a dash or in a mounting plate that can be mounted under the dash. Condition: This ammeter gauge is NOS and is still in the factory NAPA Balkamp package. Shipping: The item will be packed carefully to insure safe arrival at your location. Most items are shipped via the USPS Priority Mail with a flat rate package. Here’s a bit of my story: At a used car lot in a small middle Tennessee town the ‘car bug’ bit and I have been infected with this disease for over fifty years. The father of one of my high school friends was a co-owner in the dealership, which allowed me the opportunity to grow up around these classic cars. One of my first drives was an SS Impala, which has a way of hooking you for life! When you were in the graduating class of 1967 you were born to love the muscle cars of that era. Over the last four decades I have bought, sold, restored and collected cars from every vintage. There was a Cadillac LaSalle, some Ford Mustangs, a sweet 1953 MG-TD, several Corvettes, a few pickups, and even a 1926 Studebaker! This diversified experience has included owning approximately 150 cars in the last forty-three years! Within the last twenty years it has been my pleasure to concentrate more on collectible parts as I have personally witnessed how hard it is to find good quality, original parts for a vintage car. My travels have taken me to swap meets at Carlisle, Hershey, Charlotte, Indianapolis, Chicago, Moultrie, Louisville, etc. where I have built a relationship with other car hobby enthusiasts as a fair and reputable buyer and seller. I currently hold a ten-year certificate from Corvette Bloomington Gold for being a vendor at their prestigious event. As a result of these efforts, my warehouse now includes forty-two ‘parts cars’ and shelves loaded with engines, drive train parts, body parts, trim pieces, accessories, etc. Most recently I have been specializing in one of the most classic cars from the sixties – the Oldsmobile Cutlass 442.
