eBay Hello all, it is 7/15/22 and I just got an email telling me K.O.A. has raised all of their STAG handle knives. I am trying to get a 30 day extension on this, because of MAP pricing all dealers need to follow what K.O.A. tells us but the knives I have were brought before their cost went up. I do not know yet if I can do this I wanted you to know this because 87 people are watching this knife, the new price will be $194.35 which is a big difference so now its up to you either today or ion 30 days this will happen, I hope I helped some of you. This is the knife I carry so I know it is a superior knife and for a very short time frame you can save $30.96, price increases happen but how many times have you gotten a heads up on one. KNIVES OF ALASKA brings us the 8 1/4″ JAEGER STAG HANDLE FIXED BLADE KNIFE model # 115FG. THE KNIFE I CARRY. UPDATE 1/31/22 We sold the last one now you are looking at the next knife to ship. WE JUST PUT NEW PICTURES IN TODAY WHAT YOU SEE YOU WILL RECEIVE. And look at pic’s 2 & 3 so you can see both sides of the handle. We set the pictures so you can see the overall knife, the 1st few pic’s you can see both sides of the handle and its a beauty then the handle & blade plus check out the leather sheath you’ll get, even the sheath is nicer than any I’ve ever seen, in my opinion, this is the best size and weight out of all of the Knives of Alaska to carry this is only my opinion. I don’t know about you but I normally have more then what I really need for a day hunt so having an 8 1/4″ knife weighing 7 to 8oz. is perfect for me. You can also get a Jaeger with a black sure-grip handle 113FG, if the stag handle is to much the knives are exactly the same except the handles. We have already sold 8 in 30 days of the 115FG. On 11/8/21 we got finally the 18 we have had on back order since 2/24/21 this should give you an idea of how long it can take to get knives ever since the virus all knife companies have had problems and stag is a problem of its own, 20 knives might sound like allot we never know how long we will have them we have sold 20 of these in less then 2 months, we have also had 20 for a year. All of the K.O.A. knives with a stag handle we are now told 8 months to 1 year to get more not 30 to 60 days like before. This is how big of a problem it is to get stag climate change is the reason deer are dropping their racks early causing the antler to splinter, climate change is hurting everything try to help this problem. 115FG you’ll see some have a thicker white handle K.O.A. uses Caribou Antlers too, they use different types of stag,- Deer, Red stag, Black Tail, Mule, & Caribou, Moose, antlers when they make these knives, the handles made with Caribou are bigger than the stag handle but don’t have the color. I honestly don’t look at all of the knives when we get an order,- but we have changed how we sell now the knife you see could be an example of the knife you get many buyers didn’t like how we were selling and said item not as described killing our rating, eBay with policy changes and buyers that didn’t like what we shipped them well now that counts against me so now I can’t ship you a better-looking knife then what you see for the same amount of money and I know many of you liked that way of selling its always a great feeling to get a nicer looking knife then what is in the listing, but that will be no more.
