A fabulous heavy vintage Italian estate 14k gold omega collar necklace, dating to circa the 1970s/80s. This wonderful vintage Italian solid 14k yellow gold omega collar necklace is heavier and wider of many of its type which reflects its fabulous quality comprised of a circle of endless links leading up to a push in clasp with flip over safety catch-definitely designed for those of us that want to be noticed! The necklace is marked ’14K’ and ‘Italy’ and ‘GLC’, the import mark of the Gold Link Company of Los Angeles, California (established in 1974). The necklace tests for 14k gold. The necklace measures approximately 18 inches in total length. When closed the inside diameter is about 5 3/8 inches. The necklace is about 10mm wide and weighs approximately 67.4 grams. The necklace is in excellent estate condition with no dings or dents and all over general wear. The clasp and safety catch work well. We just adore the vintage look and have left the necklace exactly as it was found in the estate, however with this particular piece your jeweler could easily polish the necklace back to a ‘new’ look if desired!
