eBay Both front and back covers have an embossed design. The cover is a lovely shade of lavender purple; it reminds me of the old antique books. There is no plastic wrap on this Bible, but it is brand new. This model has been discontinued. It is a nice size Bible, 5.5 x 8, perfect for putting in a purse (and the beautiful cover makes it fun to pull this out in coffee shops, Bible studies, etc). This Bible would be great as a gift for a child. The print is small (seems like 7 or 8 pt) but very readable, as the pages are nice and white, and the font is a good type. The HCSB Bible itself is one of the best available translations, easy to understand but maintaining the integrity of the Word. I highly recommend it. Both the Personal Size and Personal Size Gift Bibles have a presentation page, maps, the plan of salvation, and HCSB bullet notes. The Personal Size Bible also includes an introduction about the HCSB version, a micro concordance, and a Bible dictionary; these are not in the Personal Size Gift Bible. The green seaweed Bible is a third option- even though it is also called a Personal Size- in that it has foil page edges, a ribbon marker, and may even have a sewn binding.
