Some younger fish may not be showing colors yet, but they are the offspring of the pictured pair and should display similar coloring to the adults pictured once full-grown.Fish in picture are samples of what I have – I can’t guarantee they will be the exact fish!These are great fish for small to large aquariums. The males grow to be around 4-6 inches long and females stay a little smaller. The males are a wonderful centerpiece fish. They stay towards the middle of the aquarium.Acclimation: My preferred method for acclimation is to place the unopened bag of fish in your aquarium for about 20 minutes to allow the temps to equalize. Next, get a clean fish net ready. Place it over a bucket. Dump the contents of the bag into the net. All old shipping water will run through into the bucket, and the fish will be in the net. Then, simply dump the fish into your aquarium. I find this the least stressful way for acclimating hardy fish!Packaging and shipping:If you live on the West Coast and order delicate fish, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU SELECT 1-2 SHIPPING. We are in TN and shipments to the West Coast can sometimes take over the weekend, even with priority mail. Most fish can tolerate this, but it is hard on them and will increase chances of DOA. I ship on Monday of every week. I do so to try to prevent any fish from being stuck in the post office over the weekend. If you order on Monday, I will try to ship that day, but your order might not ship until the following Monday if I have already started processing orders. Fish are fasted for at least 24 hours before being shipped to minimize waste during shipping. They will also be shipped with polyfilter to help absorb ammonia that might develop during shipping. Shipping will only be to the contiguous 48 states.Thank you for your interest in our fish room! Please feel free to send me any questions you might haveDOA: To receive a refund for dead fish, you must take a clear picture of the dead fish inside of unopened bag within 2 hours of delivery.
