Complete Solid Silver Art Deco Cutlery Set for 12. Barcelona, Circa 1920 Complete silver Art Deco cutlery or silverware set for 12, made in Barcelona circa 1920 and in amazing condition. The flatware comes in its original case and is composed of 12 spoons (720 g total weigh), 12 forks (765 g), 12 dessert spoons (281 g), a helping spoon and a ladle (354 g), 12 knives and 12 dessert knives with silver handle and metal blade. There are also some serving tongs, but they are not original to the set. In general and excluding the knives and tongs, the flatware has a total weigh of 2 kg 120 g. Every single piece has the hallmark of Barcelona and the silversmiths’ mark, the house Ramón Font. They are wonderfully preserved, even the knives’ blades showing a flawless condition. They all have a hand-engraved monogram with a capital N. The case is covered of maroon leatherette outside and preserves the original side handles and lock and key set, fully functional. Inside it is covered with a beautiful blue satin lining in exceptional condition, with the manufacturers’ name and address printed in a lovely lettering. This striking and completes silver Art Deco flatware for 12 is worthy of the most elegant dining table, where it will add its unbeatable style. Total Weight without knives: 2.120 g. It’s an antique city founded by the Romans, by the Emperor Caesar Augustus more than 2000 years ago, capital of the powerful antique Kingdom of Aragon, 900 years ago and during the Medieval times, and first defeat of Napoleon’s troops in Europe during the Napoleonic Wars in the early 19th Century, among other History… Here I was born, here I live, and here I have my small antiques shop. We are proffesional antique dealers I started in this world as a collector. My parents introduced me into the world of antiques and the auction houses since I was a child here in Spain but also in other cities as Milan, London and Paris.
