Extender features 35mm film coverage with ARRI PL mount on front and rear. Made in the USA, Century Precision Optics Extenders are traditionally used in cinema to alter the focal length of lenses. Particularly useful when the subject of a shot is out of reach & moving closer just isn’t an option. Simply place the Century Optics 1.4x Extender between the lens and camera body to increase the lens’ focal length by 1.4 times with 1 stop of light transmission loss. As an example, when used in conjunction with one of Angenieux’s vintage zooms like the 25-250mm T3.5 HR, it will become an Angenieux 35-350 T4.9 HR Zoom lens.
