Please come back often, as we are always buying more goodies to list on ebay. This listing is for an excellent, Casio Baby-G, digital watch. The Baby-G was originally created as the ladies’ equivalent to the men’s popular G-Shock digital watch. The G-Shock is a large watch, so the Baby-G, while smaller than the G-Shock is still big for a women’s watch. It has a case size of about 38mm. It’s a little hard to measure to a precision, as the side button/crowns sort of grow out of the case. Crowns are usually not included in case size measurement, so I did my best to exclude them when I measured the watch. This watch has a color scheme of a dark, smoky gray and shiny aqua/blue-green. The band is either plastic or vinyl and is semi-transparent. The very tip of the band is a little curled, probably due to heat or something like that (see photos). There are a couple of little enameled wires that hold down the rollers on the top and bottom of the watch face. I think the purpose of the rollers is to keep the crystal from getting scratched. Anyhow, the enamel on the little wires is chipped, but these wires are so tiny to begin with that no one will ever notice this. There may be a slight scuff here or there on the case just from bumping things from time to time. Other than that, the only sign of wear I really see is a slight film here and there that needs cleaning off. I didn’t notice this until viewing the watch under the magnification and light of my jeweler’s loop while inspecting it to write this listing. I’ll do my best to clean most of this off before shipping. As far as the curled tip of the watch band goes, I personally would just cut it off with scissors. The band is long enough without it, and the material used for making the band is such that it won’t fray or unravel. The watch comes with its original tine box and still has the tag in the box as well. The back of the watch is a solid plate with screws in all 4 corners, so if you need to replace the battery, you must do so carefully as to not lose any of the tiny screws. The current watch battery still has juice, so the watch is working. I don’t know how old this battery is, so should it run out before the watch reaches its new owner, replacing it is up to that new owner. I don’t know what all of the watch’s functions are, or how to test them beyond the basic time display, so should the buyer of this watch discover that any of its functions aren’t working properly, the buyer may return the watch. However, it must be tested within 4 weeks of receiving it. The option to return expires at this point. Pictures are to be considered as part of the description.
