Although in fair condition, it can reach maximum temperature and is useful for biochemical, bacteriological, and hematological studies. It provides a controlled environment for growing microorganisms and for studying chick and invertebrate embryos. The specially designed heaters eliminate the hazards of open-wire internal heaters, and the solid, corrosion-resistant aluminum chamber walls help to distribute heat evenly throughout the chamber. It has a temperature range from slightly above ambient to 60C, a chamber volume of 1.00 cubic feet, and interior dimensions of 12″W x 12″D x 12″H (30 x 30 x 30 cm).
