Vintage NPA National Pilot’s Association Wings Sticker – Rare Description Up for sale is a vintage NPA (National Pilot’s Association) Wings Sticker. This sticker was kept in a drawer by a family member who is no longer with us, so this listing is technically part of an ongoing online estate sale of sorts. The sticker has a really cool looking embossed surface to it; with a silvery chrome-like finish contrasted by dark blue outlines. I’ve never actually come across another item listing quite like this; since these items are usually actual pins or lapel badges; which would be enough to make this a rare, if not altogether unique item. The sticker measures approximately 5 & 7/8″ wide by 2 & 1/16″ tall. Additionally, there is some wear on the rounded NPA logo portion of the sticker appearing in the form of some slight finish loss on the blue inked areas that look like basic scratches through this finish which reveal a chrome-like silver undercoat as well. The top of the sticker also appears to be a bit fuzzy as well, with some metal like threads sticking out over the sticker… I’m guessing this might be some wear to the silvery chrome portions of the outline on this item. The instructions on the back of the sticker reveal this decal to be a peel and stick type of sticker and not a water decal; obviously. Even though there is some finish wear on the sticker itself; this decal is for all intents and purposes still in like new condition as it’s never been used (that is removed from its backing and applied onto a surface) before. Because of this, and the noted rarity behind this particular item, I’m pricing it accordingly, so please be sure to get in on this deal while it still lasts.
