INTAKE IS A DIRECT FIT BOLT ON FOR FOX BODY MUSTANG 87-93 CARS THAT FEATURE THE LOWER INTAKE SENSOR LOCATED IN THE #5 BOSS INTAKE RUNNER LIKE STOCK OR COBRA! THE CORNER STUB ON THE DRIVER SIDE OF THE UPPER INTAKE HAS BEEN SHAVED OFF. I ALSO RACE/STREET USE THESE INTAKES. I HAVE A STOCK BLOCK/CAM COMBO I USE GT40 EXPLORER INTAKE/HEADS WITH SPRINGS AND MAKE 535 HP 575 TQ TO WHEELS ON A SMALL TURBO. I SELL SAME STUFF I USE HERE ON EBAY. HOW MANY SELLERS CAN SHOW THIS! CHECK OUT YOUTUBE UNDER NEOMUSTANGS! Up for sale is a clean, sonic tanked and HEAT painted GT40 Upper and Lower intake. This was pulled from a 96-97 style 5.0 explorer. A direct bolt on upgrade for 87-93 ford mustang fox body’s and Sn95 302 mustangs. The #5 intake runner boss has been drilled and tapped to receive the stock style IAT sensor (also known as the ACT). This is identical to your stock fox 302 style sensor location and the 93 cobra style sensor location. Will also fit right on a 94-95 mustang but requires a 3/8th NPT plug to plug the sensor hole as you don’t require it. Also, may require an elbow to work for 94-95 mustangs. Fits All 87-93 mustang EFI 5.0 mustang engines and their fuel rails, PCV, injectors and other sensors will bolt right on along with the EGR and TB. Will also fit other cars like cougars and Thunderbirds that used the 5.0 HO engine however there may be hood clearance issues? Buyers check fitment. Has a few extra vacuums than stock but you can just plug them. Pretty much a direct fit for fox body. This is an excellent upgrade to the EFI 5.0 mustangs giving it anywhere between 25-40 more HP over stock and flow more air. These intakes actual OUTFLOW GT40 Tubular AND cobra OEM intakes. Look at the last picture, you’ll see the flow bench on them from 5.0 mustang magazine that did a test between all 3 intake uppers. The intake comes with proper hardware to mount upper to lower w/ a new gasket. May be OE or Aftermarket Bolts correct sizes. This is an excellent upgrade for fox body mustangs 87-93 and SN95 mustangs (with the intake elbow) 94-95. This will fit all EFI 302 engines. Two things I did want to mention. The EGR housing that has coolant passage thru it will not hook up to this intake. The boss is there to tap and put a fitting in if you like. DOES NOT COME WITH TOP COVER PLATE OR ANY VACUUM HOSE. MAY HAVE THE SIDE OF THE NOTCH SHAVED OFF AS PICTURED LAST PICTURE. I CAN PAINT THIS INTAKE DEFAULT ALUMINUM, BLACK, BLUE, RED, NEW FORD GRAY (SAME AS STOCK ALMOST).
